The FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre in St. Catharines is taking a trip down memory lane this Friday (October 8) when they present “The Musical Box” which will treat fans to the music of early Genesis.

As in the Peter Gabriel Genesis that fans still love. But theatre/concert-goers better move quickly as both shows are 75 per cent sold out.

The centre promises “live visual stunts, a museum-worth array of vintage instruments and a dizzying pace of iconic tracks and stage rarities, this concert promises to impress.”

The two in-person shows take place at 6 pm and again at 9 pm in Partridge Hall.

The centre says, “Acclaimed for its historical reenactment, they have performed for more than a million spectators worldwide with authentic vintage Genesis instruments, costumes and stage props.”

During its international run, The Musical Box “has performed for more than a million spectators worldwide in some of the most prestigious venues such as the London Royal Albert Hall and the Paris Olympia.”

In the past, the show has seen both Phil Collins and Steve Hackett as performing guests.

Tickets are $65, $25 for university and college students and $5 for high school students.
