UPDATE: Yesterday the incorrect price for a house sold in St. Catharines was reported. Here is the updated story.
A house in St. Catharines has sold for $130,000 more than the asking price.
The house, located on Kimbermount Dr., sold for $1,230,000. The house was originally listed for $1.1 million.
While it looks like a modest one-storey detached bungalow from the street, the sloping land shows a beautiful split-level in the backyard, complete with hot tub and Koi pond.
The listing said, “Calmness and serenity awaits with this exceptional bungalow with a basement walkout overlooking a stunning ravine. Modern and bright at first sight with quartersawn oak hardwood throughout the open concept. Being drawn to all the windows is a natural. The canopy of the tree is a wonder.”
It continued, “The layout was overhauled and redesigned impeccably. The kitchen is placed perfectly to oversee the yard and is nicely planned out of the living and dining room space. Perfect for family gatherings.”
Listed as extras were a built-in microwave, washer and dryer, hot tub, fridge and stove.
