All the mouth-watering ribs you can eat, four straight days of fun, and 35 hours of live music – does it get better than that?

Organizers behind the St. Catharines Rotary Ribfest think that’s pretty much the best way to spend the August Long Weekend at Montebello Park.

“As one of St. Catharines’ biggest downtown events, there are over 30,000 annual attendees, 35 hours of live music, local 20 vendors offering food, drinks, merchandise, and, of course, plenty of ribs from your favourite ribbers,” they said.

Rib trucks from Bone Daddy, Billy Bones BBQ, Silver Bullet BBQ, Camp 31 BBQ, and Uncle Sam’s BBQ will all descend on the park from August 4 to August 7.

The hours will be August 4, 5, and 6 from noon to 11 pm and August 7 from noon to 8 pm.

As for the tunes, here’s the line-up:

August 4:
5 pm – 7:30 pm Hungry Hearts Band
8 pm – 11 pm Jonesy

August 5:
Noon – 2 pm Mike Stevenson
2:30 pm – 4:30 pm Brant Parker Blues Band
5 pm – 7:30 pm The Lost Boys
8 pm – 11 pm Vinyl Flux

August 6:
Noon – 2 pm Miles Evans-Branagh
2:30 pm – 4:30 pm Mel Monaco
5 pm – 7:30 pm LMT Connection
8 pm – 11 pm Back In The Daze

August 7:
Noon – 2 pm Karen Thornton
2:30 pm – 4:30 pm Marty Allen Band
5 pm – 7:30 pm 97.7 HTZ-FM Rock Search Champion

There will be no charge for visitors to enter the park. However, the Rotary Club says donations “would be greatly appreciated.”
