Suspects evade police after stolen vehicle from Halton home invasion found in Grimsby

An unknown number of suspects remain at large following a home invasion robbery in Halton, where a vehicle was stolen and later located in the town of Grimsby in Niagara.
On Saturday (Oct. 19), Niagara Regional Police say officers found a stolen vehicle around 10 p.m. near South Service Road and Casablanca Boulevard.
Police have linked the incident to a home invasion in Halton, where they believe the vehicle involved was stolen. However, they have not provided specific details on the timeline, leaving it unclear whether the vehicle was located on the same day as the theft or at a later time.
Officials say the suspects fled the scene and evaded capture despite a pursuit by K9 officers.
At this time, authorities are urging residents and businesses in the area to remain alert, as the suspects are believed to be armed and dangerous.
Residents are advised not to approach the suspects and to call 911 immediately if anything suspicious is observed.
