The Niagara police have confirmed that a 16-year-old St. Catharines boy has died from injuries suffered in an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) rollover almost two weeks ago.

The boy died on Thursday.

The Niagara Regional Police Service says its collision reconstruction unit is continuing to investigate the fatal crash, which was in the area of Garrison Village Drive and Village Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The police are interested in footage from between 11:30 p.m. and 12:35 a.m. on March 12-13. That could include closed circuit security cameras, doorbell video cameras, or dashcams that include footage of the yellow ATV that the rider was found pinned under in critical condition.

Anyone with information may contact the NRPS at 905-688-4111, ext. 1009265.

The ATV was a yellow Suzuki King Quad 700. It was damaged considerably in the crash.
