Tickets still available for craft beer festival in St. Catharines on Father’s Day

Still haven’t found that perfect Father’s Day gift for Pops? If he’s a big beer fan, you may be in luck.
St. Catharines’ Trust Beer Bar is bringing some of Ontario’s most sought-after craft breweries into the city on June 18 for their Quench Craft Beer Festival with an afternoon session, followed by an evening one – each three hours long.
“After a few long years (due to the pandemic), Quench Craft Beer Festival returns to downtown St. Catharines on Sunday, June 18. Featuring 25 of Ontario’s best craft producers, Quench promises to be a fun-filled day for all in attendance,” said the organizers on their Facebook page.
The two separate three hours sessions are set with the first from 2 pm to 5 pm and the second from 6 pm to 9 pm.
As for the aforementioned breweries, any craft beer lover will say these are some the best in the province and two local breweries will be there: Niagara Falls’ favourite Counterpart Brewing and Beamsville’s Bench Brewing, both multi-award winners.
St. Catharines’ brand new Turncoat Brewing, which only has an Amber Ale and Oat Pale Ale out so far contract-brewed out of Dragan Brewing, will also be there with two taps.
Coming a fair distance from out-of-town is All My Friends Beer Co from Prince Edward County, Badland Brewing from Caledon, Prince Eddy’s Brewing and Slake Brewing, both from Picton, Willibald Farm Brewery from Ayr and Beau’s Brewery from Vankleek Hill.
A few Toronto favourites that seldom do festivals will be pouring taps – Bellwoods Brewing, Burdock Brewing and Blood Brothers Brewing.
The Hammer will be well-represented with three of Hamilton’s finest – Grain & Grit Brewing, their down-the-street neighbour Fairweather Brewing and from the downtown core, Merit Brewing.
Considered by many to be Ottawa’s finest, Dominion City Brewing will be pouring as will Tooth and Nail Brewing, also from the capital city while Kingston will be getting repped by Fine Balance Brewing. Town Brewing from Whitby will also be making the trek down the QEW.
For those who prefer ciders, Niagara Cider Co and Revel Cider will both have booths, as will Dillon’s Small Batch Distillers.
Festival tickets cost $30 and will include one complimentary sample glass, along with three tokens valid for five ounce sample pours. More tokens will be available onsite.
