While 15 classrooms have been shut down in the District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) due to COVID-19 cases, just two schools account for 11 of those, according to figures released yesterday (September 29) by the board.

One active case at Princess Elizabeth has seen seven classrooms closed while six cases at William E Brown have shut down four classrooms.

While the DSBN hasn’t closed any schools as of yet, most of the balance of the closed classrooms is a one-case/one-closed-class scenario.

The exceptions are Thorold and E L Crossley, which both have one active case but no closed classrooms.

The others are Forestview, Harriet Tubman, Nelles and River View, all of which have one active case and one closed classroom.
