Two Niagara Region school boards combine for 11 COVID-19, five closed classrooms

Both Niagara Region’s school boards are going into the weekend with a relatively low number of COVID-19 cases, likely due to the region’s vaccination rates.
The District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) has six outstanding cases, enough to close five classrooms board-wide.
The Niagara Catholic District School Board (NCDSB) has five outstanding cases but also zero closed classrooms.
The DSBN has one case at Eden, two cases and one closed classroom at Harriet Tubman, one case and one closed classroom at John Brant, one case and one closed classrooms at Prince Philip in Niagara Falls and one case with two closed classrooms at Princess Elizabeth.
Over at the NCDSB, Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School has two cases, Notre Dame College School has one case, Saint Michael Catholic High School has one case and one case at Saint Paul Catholic High School.
