Two Niagara school boards have 26 COVID-19 cases, 25 closed classrooms

Between the District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) and the Niagara Catholic District School Board (NCDSB), 25 classrooms have been closed after 26 COVID-19 cases were discovered.

However, all schools in both boards remain open.

The cases and closed classrooms for the DSBN are:  A N Myer (one active case), Fitch Street (three active cases, three closed classrooms), Gordon (two active cases, two closed classrooms), Kate S Durdan (one active case, one closed classroom), McKay (one active case, one closed classroom), Princess Elizabeth (two active cases, two closed classrooms), Princess Margaret (two active cases, two closed classrooms), River View (one active case, one closed classroom) and Senator Gibson (one active case).

The cases and closed classrooms for the NCDSB are: Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School (one active case, two closed classrooms), Saint Michael Catholic High School (three active cases, six closed classrooms), St. Andrew Catholic Elementary School (one active case, one closed classroom), St. Christopher Catholic Elementary School (one active case, one closed classroom), St. Denis Catholic Elementary School (one active case), St. John Catholic Elementary School (two active cases, one closed classroom), St. John Bosco Catholic Elementary School (two active cases, one closed classroom) and St. Mary Catholic Elementary School – Niagara Falls (one active case, one closed classroom).
