Two suspects on the loose after armed robbery of Niagara Falls bank

Two male suspects are on the loose after an armed robbery of a Niagara Falls bank last night (Feb. 23).

Niagara Police report that at 8 pm, they were called to the Meridian Credit Union (4780 Portage Rd) in Niagara Falls, where they heard two men, one armed with a handgun, come into the bank demanding cash.

While no employees were hurt during the incident, the pair allegedly got away with an undisclosed amount of cash in what police suspect was a white Dodge Caravan minivan. (See below.)

The first suspect is described as a Black male who is 50 years old and 6-foot tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black mask, black jacket, black gloves, dark grey pants and black shoes.

Police say the second suspect is described as a Black male who is 30 years old and 5-foot-9 with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a mask, a grey hooded sweatshirt with “BARRIE” on the left chest and a maple leaf logo underneath, black pants and burgundy shoes. (See below.)
