Update: E-scooter collision leaves Niagara man with life threatening injuries

An adult male is suffering from life threatening injuries after a car and an E- scooter collided this afternoon (June 19).
According to Niagara Regional Police, the collision took place on Lundy’s Lane between Carlton Ave., and Franklin Ave at 1: 30 p.m.

The individual was airlifted to a hospital for urgent medical treatment. The extent of his injuries is currently unknown.
Investigation has revealed that a Toyota Prius was attempting to turn left onto Lundy’s Lane when it collided with an E- scooter, ejecting the driver of the scooter.
Although traffic lanes in the area have now reopened, the investigation is ongoing. Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact police.
