Video footage sought after man hospitalized from assault in Niagara Falls

Police are investigating a recent assault that hospitalized a man in Niagara Falls.

Around 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, officers responded to the area of Lowell Avenue and North Street and located a male who had suffered multiple injuries.

The 43 year old victim was taken to local hospital. Injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

“It was determined that the male had walked by Lundy’s Lane at  Corwin Avenue at approximately 12:00am.  The male then walked to the area of Lundy’s Lane near Franklin Avenue at approximately 1:00am,” said police.

There’s no suspect description at this time.

Police are asking homeowners on Corwin Avenue, Spence Street, Barker Street, Carlton Avenue and Culp Street to review any video surveillance footage between 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. on the day of the incident for signs of a disturbance or fight.
