VIDEO: Former WWE superstar coming to St. Catharines wrestling event

Just in case anyone has forgotten how long it’s been since wrestling extravaganzas have been held, when Niagara-based Crossfire Wrestling holds it first event next month they chose to call it “FINALLY!”
Coming to the Merritton Community Centre at 7 Park Avenue in St. Catharines on April 24th at 4 pm, Crossfire Wrestling is looking to make its first event in over two years one of their biggest and most anticipated yet.
Former WWE superstar and announcer Terri Runnels will be the special guest at the event.
Commissioner Frank Newman said in a video, “Finally, after two years, we get to see each other again. So we wanted to make this a special show and we just signed a deal just for you. Can’t wait to see you on April 24 at 4 o’clock. Don’t you dare miss it.”
With some of the proceeds going to the Niagara Peninsula Foundation for Children, Crossfire has even created a special title for the wrestlers to vie for – the Autism Awareness Champion Belt.
Crossfire Wrestling, known locally for it family entertainment wrestling events, said, “We look for the best independent wrestlers in a wide range of places. We take pride in helping our local community and local charities. We make sure you are entertained and get your hard earned money’s worth.”
