Welland man busted after indecent act on Merritt Island near kids’ park

A Welland man has been charged by police after committing an indecent act on Merritt Island in view of both a walking path and a children’s playground.
On August 4 at 9:25 am, Niagara Police were called to the area after numerous complaints about a man sitting at a picnic table masturbating.
Witnesses were able to point the police towards the man’s location.
Brian Laramee, 52, of Welland is charged with committing an indecent act in a public place.
He has been held for a bail hearing today (August 5th) via video link to the courthouse in St. Catharines.
