Back on July 4, Niagara Police were called to Welland City Hall following two reports of a man performing indecent acts.
They discovered that in the early afternoon, the suspect went into the women’s public washroom and allegedly “performed an indecent act before urinating on the floor.”
They then discovered he had also allegedly “engaged in a further indecent act in the entrance to the building in the presence of a young female.”
Today (July 14), he was identified and arrested.
Nathan Peddle, 27, of Welland was charged with two counts of performing an indecent act, mischief under $5,000, and exposure to a person under the age of 16.
He is currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing on July 15 at the courthouse in St. Catharines.
Detectives have reason to believe that there could be additional victims and are asking anyone with information to contact police at (905) 688-4111, dial option 3, ext. 1009077.
