Yes, Niagara Falls, there is a Santa Claus and you’re going to see the jolly man all over the city in the next couple of weeks.
And brings those cameras because there’s going to be a ton of photo opportunities (even though many of the events will be doing that for the kids.)
The Ontario Power Generation-sponsored Meet and Greet (with free photos) will be running at Queen Victoria Place on December 4, 11, 18, 19 and 20 from 6 pm to 8 pm each night.
The Queen Victoria Place in Niagara Parks is also home to the giant Gingerbread House, illuminated Gingerbread Family, Candy Canes and more.
Then there will be Santa at the Fun Zone, located in Four Points by Sheraton Fallsview Hotel, lower level at 6455 Fallsview Boulevard.
They promise “festive fun at Fun Zone with complimentary photos with Santa! Meet Ol’ Saint Nick and make a night out of it with laser tag and arcade games. Non-perishable food items will be accepted and will be donated to Project Share. A photo with Santa will also grant visitors a free visit in the Mirror Maze. Free parking available.”
But Saint Nicolaus isn’t done with Canadian premier tourist destination just yet. Santa at the Niagara Falls Christmas Market (Queen Street) is also running until December 19. The market will run every weekend – Fridays: 5 to 10 pm, Saturdays 1 to 10 pm and Sundays 11 am to 6 pm.The Downtown Business Association promised “a variety of activities to experience and local vendors to shop from. Vendors will operate out of Christmas cabins that will be lit up and decorated on the street. The Christmas Market will include over 30 light structures, interactive art displays, nightly live music, string lights, glow swings, four light-up seesaws, human-scale interactive piano, fire pits with Muskoka chairs, Christmas movies and street entertainment.
And finally, children can meet him during Santa Claus at Dufferin Islands where he’ll be enjoying the light displays at Dufferin Islands as part of the OPG Winter Festival of Lights on December 3, 5, 10, 12 and 17 from 5 to 7:30 pm.
