With 35 new COVID-19 cases today, Niagara Region now sits at 300 existing cases

There were 35 new cases of COVID-19 today (September 13) in Niagara Region, pushing the active cases to 300 – the highest levels since early June.

The Delta variant continues its stranglehold on the region, accounting for 99.4 per cent of the existing cases.

Eyes are on Niagara Falls, which is accounting for nearly a third of 96 cases, followed by St Catharines with 81. Thorold is registering 32 cases followed by Welland at 19.

Grimsby, Fort Erie and Pelham rounds out the double-digit club with 15, 13 and 11 cases respectively.
